Then she asks him to get a tattoo together, but he refuses because he says JW are not allowed to have one.
Nice to hear the guy still has some scruples left.
it happened to one of my friends.
what do you think of the guy's behavior?.
a girl and a guy are coworkers.

letter read that the society will no longer be making hardcover books.
also the told people to not place orders for daily texts or calendars if they had the ability to download these.
who downloads a calendar?
Blondie: Just remember we are talking about an organization that demonized the internet and computers when other companies were jumping on board.
I know for sure they did that but I'd love to have a quote from one of the publications on hand when I point this out to those who are so impressed by JW.org and the WT society being so progressive.
i thought some of you might be interested in this.

How are they going to keep all those Bethelites busy?
i just walked back from getting my mail and happen to walk right by an automobile that belongs to the jw's who live in the end of my building.
the sticker in the low left of the windshield caught my attention so i stopped to read it.
it was a sticker that said......advanced medical directive.....no blood!
What's next....a tattoo on each arm ?
i was running the cash till at the annual boy scout fundraiser yard sale yesterday, wearing my finest boy scout t-shirt and enjoying the blistering heat, when i saw a local family of witnesses browsing the merchandise.
they studiously avoided looking at me, but eventually a bargain nightgown proved irresistable and the wife was forced to approach the cash table and ask about pricing.
we avoid putting prices on each item because there is just too much stuff and we remind everyone that the money sends the kids to summer camp so the guilt kicks in and people pay more.
You should send her a note and tell her the nightgown was donated by a Wicken Highpriestess who wore it during a serimonial sex ritual, but thanks for your donation to the Boy Scouts of America !
we visited the rio rancho, nm u.s.a kingdom hall build this past saturday adn met jim & janet mura.
it is disgusting what they have done to this poor family.. .

These two perpetuate the stereotype of the crazy ex-jw's sorry; I can't watch their videos, I get embarassed for them
I tend to agree...they seem a little too amused with themselves and their message comes across as one of ridicule and vindictiveness rather than out of concern for others. I can understand how they feel but I think these videos are counterproductive.
i havent posted on here for many a year, but i have become an activist this year and i need a bit of advice please.. .
a friend and i have designed some stickers and we will be attending the conventions this year, with the intention of trying to wake people up discreetly.
if i knew how to attach the word document containing our stickers i would (please feel free to email me at [email protected]).. anyhow the help i want is this.
I am going to get my stickers printed onto HIGH STICK paper, so that they are all but impossible to remove, and my aim is to get them on all the donation boxes, whichwould effectively put the boxes out of action. :-)
Placing stickers on the back of the stall doors in the mens and womens restrooms would be easy enough to do and would give lots of people a chance to read them in private before they were covered up. You could go back every few hours and replace them on some other part of the door or stall wall if they were taken down. Of course now that you've mentioned this here, they'll be a directive to be on the lookout for such activity.
ask the next jw you encounter or who happens to showsup at your door, whether or not it is permissible , because of the new light regarding blood fractons, for jehovah's witnesses to donate blood so long as they specify in writing that their blood be spun down into fractions before it is used for medical purposes.. i did.....it's interesting to watch their eyes glaze over.. i'm thinking of calling bethel and asking the same question..
Occasionally, a doctor will urge a patient to deposit his own blood weeks before surgery (preoperative autologous blood donation, or PAD) so that if the need arises, he could transfuse the patient with his own stored blood. However, such collecting, storing, and transfusing of blood directly contradicts what is said in Leviticus and Deuteronomy. Blood is not to be stored; it is to be poured out—returned to God, as it were. Granted, the Mosaic Law is not in force now. Nevertheless, Jehovah’s Witnesses respect the principles God included in it, and they are determined to ‘abstain from blood.’ Hence, we do not donate blood, nor do we store for transfusion our blood that should be ‘poured out.’ That practice conflicts with God’s law.
An yet they will accept fractions of blood that was drawn out of someone's arm, stored, separated and stored again and all the while beleive they are abstaining from blood.
They let someone else donate blood (supposedly breakig Gods law) but accept fractions of that blood and let the donor take the fall for having donated it.
